Frequently Asked Questions
Typically it takes around 7 days to build your website once we have your requirements like colours and branding, etc.
For more complex requirements, it can take a little longer, but we will inform you of our estimate prior to commencing work.
Yes for our Growth package, we provide editor logins for you to edit the website that we have built for you. It’s easy to login, you just type your username and password! With our drag and drop system, you can edit your website to your heart’s content!
Our low cost template website designs are perfect for new and existing agencies. Months of development time has already been invested into our sites so they are ready to go!
We prepare your new website very carefully by personalising your choice of one of our readymade template designs (website “Set Up”), however we don’t provide you with a personal web developer.
Our efficient website set up consists of the following: applying your chosen 1 or 2 colour theme, adding your business name and contact details, adding your local area names in the meta-tags (for the search engines), inserting your logo, and focusing the map to your location. Any other personalisation is provided at our discretion and we may be able to do it included (free) or provide a quote for any additional work that you request.
Of course! Yes all images on the website can be changed or removed. We can do some of them when it is built, or you can take your time and change them yourself once your site goes live.
If you have chosen our SouthcourtHub software, you simply login and create the property by typing the address, price, property type etc. Then upload your floorplans, 3D tours, images etc. Easy!
If you’re using 3rd party software, we have developed advanced communication protocols where we operate a managed property feed to your website from your software provider. This is available if you choose our “Business/Fully Managed” subscription.
We’re often asked what’s the difference between a “template” website, and a “custom-made” bespoke website.
The short answer is that a low-cost template website is ready-made then customised, therefore the weeks of work and thousands of pounds in design and production costs has already been completed. The low price reflects that the same design is used over again, with colours, details etc customised for different agents.
To keep costs low, it’s a very common approach across the industry, and can make it look unique to your agency with colours, styles and logos while keeping costs down.
A bespoke website is one that is designed and custom built for a unique business objective or purpose – they’re 100% original, and you own the copyright. They take much longer, several weeks or months usually, and cost much more because each one is unique to your business. Prices start from £3000+VAT.
If you have another CRM that you wish to integrate into our websites, then you will need the “Business” plan (see table above). This is a managed service and requires constant monitoring and maintenance for you, and therefore attracts a higher rate. We are able to import properties from most UK software providers.
The work required to integrate your chosen CRM to your website is free/included for some 3rd party software providers, but for others there is an additional site development charge due to the increased complexity of the software integration work required.
If you have a specific 3rd party software CRM in mind, please contact us prior to ordering.
The monthly charge covers maintenance of your website, licences for premium software, expert support, fast nationwide hosting, daily backups, and for our top package (Business – Fully Managed) it includes “done-for-you” changes and coding to your site as a managed service, along with monitoring, backups, supervision and upgrades to your software feed from 3rd party providers.
Please contact us and let us know your requirements and we’ll be happy to consider your request.
